The privacy and security of your personal information is important to us. This notice will inform you about our policies and procedures concerning the “non-public personal information” about you that we collect, maintain and disclose in our role as your independent insurance agency.

We will, upon request, verify your coverage with a lien holder, mortgagee or car dealer as allowed by law. If you purchase a new vehicle, we will always verify with you the coverage you desire on this new vehicle before processing any changes with your insurance company. In the event of an insurance claim, we may disclose personal information to attorneys or independent claims adjusters in an effort to expedite the claims handling process. In our role as your independent insurance agent, from time to time we may be able to offer you better or less expensive coverage with another insurance company. However, we will not share your personal information with any other insurance company for the purpose of obtaining a quote without your verbal or written permission. When, as a prospective client, you give us your personal information for the purpose of obtaining an insurance quote, you are giving us permission to share that information with any or all of the insurance companies we are licensed with for quoting purposes only.

While your “non-public personal information” is under our control, access is limited to those employees and service people who have a legitimate business need for any such information such as those described in the previous paragraph. In accordance with applicable state and federal regulations, we maintain physical, procedural and electronic safeguards to protect the privacy and confidentiality of your “non-public personal information”.
